This is not "institutional" care that an older member of your family may have received. It is a new age driven by your individual wants and needs – resident focused living. Aldersgate offers a significantly enhanced lifestyle with concierge amenities, fulfilling social experiences and cultural opportunities designed to ensure retirement is fulfilling and rewarding. In addition, a full continuum of health services is available should you need them. These services include: rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, home care and a wellness clinic.
Residents join the community as active, independent adults by selecting a residence of their choice.
Upon selection, a 10% deposit (of selected entrance fee) is made to hold their cottage, apartment or villa until move-in.
Residents pay a one-time entrance fee and an ongoing monthly service fee just prior to moving in. These fees vary based on style and size of the residence chosen and whether it is occupied as a single person or a couple.
Residents move to Aldersgate and enjoy the freedom and peace of mind provided by not having to worry about home maintenance and/or burdening loved ones with potential future long-term care needs.
The entrance fee
There are two main types of fees paid to Aldersgate: the entrance fee and the monthly service fee. The entrance fee is paid prior to move-in and provides access to a lifetime of services and amenities. As a resident, you also receive the peace of mind of knowing that should you ever need it, priority access to long-term healthcare is available. On its 231-acre campus, Aldersgate has short-term rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory support, home care and a wellness clinic.
There are three entrance fee agreement options at Aldersgate.
Aldersgate handles the remarketing of the residence and returns the refundable portion of the entrance fee to the resident or the estate.
You pay a reduced entrance fee that is amortized over 50 months. Should you live in the community fewer than 50 months, a return of a portion of the entrance fee could be due after termination of the agreement.
50% of the entrance fee is returned to the resident or the estate after termination of the agreement. Should you live in the community fewer than 50 months, a return greater than 50% would be due after termination of the agreement.
90% of the entrance fee is returned to the resident or estate after termination of the agreement.
