    • Health Unit Coordinator - AL

      Under limited supervision, provides administrative support for assigned nursing at two Assisted Living units on campus.  Scheduling and Payroll responsibilities. FAX/mails physician orders for signature.  Maintains clinic schedules and related paperwork for unit.  Upon direction from Medical Information Department, maintains updated visitation schedule for attending physicians and communicates information related to regulations governing physician visitation to physician’s offices. Schedules resident medical appointments, diagnostic testing, etc. Maintains policy and procedure, emergency, bloodborne pathogen and infection control manuals to ensure regulatory compliance.     • Nursing Supervisor - Skilled Nursing

      ~~Supervises the day to day nursing operations of Asbury Health and Rehab.  Counsels and directs employees and interacts with all members of the healthcare team.  Responsible for staffing, delivery of appropriate nursing care, adhering to budgets and Human Resources policies and compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.  Supports and/or provides inservice staff development needs (i.e., clinical).       ~~Plans, implements and evaluates therapeutic/restorative activities under the supervision of the Lead Life Enrichment Therapist and/or the Director or Health Care Services for residents in Asbury Care Center. This may include activities of daily living.  Establishes 1:1 relationships with residents and their families. Ability to lead activities for groups of residents, and on a 1:1 basis. Ability to handle agitated, confused dementia residents. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. Demonstrates personal grooming and hygiene habits. Maintains confidentiality. Implements structured activities program for various levels of residents. Design and initiate specialized 1:1 programs to meet individual resident needs. Participates in Resident Care Planning and provides supportive documentation in the absence of the Activity Therapist. Communicates directly with Activity Therapists and supervisor regarding resident changes, concerns, observations, safety factors and other related data. Adheres to policies and procedures regarding environmental/infection precautions and activities functions. Adheres to the defined policy for the Bill of Rights for Nursing Home Residents.
